Legend:
1 Date after which the quality of the food is unlikely to meet consumer expectations. It only applies if food has been stored under recommended conditions.
2 Common name of the food.
3 Storage conditions to ensure good quality of the food up to the use-by-date.
4 Includes all the substances used in the preparation of the food. They must appear in descending order of their proportion in the food. The numbers identify specific food additives (see Appendix A).
5 The name and address of the manufacturer or packer of the product must appear on the label.
6 To ensure that the consumer is not mislead to believe that the picture represents the actual form of the food inside the package.
